This was pretty much the same as my run last Friday except I ran the backwards loop inside out.  And a little farther to get to seven and a quarter.  I saw my HPGL.  I wonder when he's going to assign me as a home teacher.

Time - 57:20 (avg. pace 7:55)

Splits - 7:50, 7:45, 7:41, 7:48, 7:56, 8:09, 8:17, 1:54 for 0.25 (7:42 pace)

Here you go Scott.

You are really young to be a HP.

From Burt on Tue, Oct 12, 2010 at 13:01:27 from 68.225.214.248

I've been one for about 4 years now. They were really desperate when they were looking for bishopric counselors in my ward. Really desperate.

Cool Star Trek outfit!

From Burt on Tue, Oct 12, 2010 at 13:51:06 from 206.19.214.144

GRRR!!!!

From Sammie Howard on Tue, Oct 12, 2010 at 14:24:36 from 109.155.151.152

oh my are you a Captain of a Federation starship?

From The Quiet Pirate on Tue, Oct 12, 2010 at 14:54:27 from 152.26.59.252

"People say you can't run away from your troubles. I say you can."

I'm just not sure you can run away from home teaching duties.

From Burt on Tue, Oct 12, 2010 at 15:47:23 from 206.19.214.144

Sammie - By - your - command. Twiggy twiggy twiggy.

QP - I'm flying under the RADAR so far. I was actually going to ask him a couple of weeks ago, but thought he might take it as a personal front to his leadership abilities.

From Rhett on Tue, Oct 12, 2010 at 16:03:45 from 184.10.154.226

Maybe he doesn't trust you enough to be a HT. :) You can come to Havasu and I'll assign you like 10 families to HT. I have 240 unassigned families for the HPs that I just keep under my name. My percentage of families HT is pretty bad.

From ChrisM on Tue, Oct 12, 2010 at 16:19:19 from 86.181.26.121

Why haven't they invented transporters by now, I mean come on it is 2010 for goodness sake!

From Chad on Tue, Oct 12, 2010 at 17:36:23 from 168.177.153.5

Burt doesn't need a transporter. Look at those splits!

From baldnspicy on Tue, Oct 12, 2010 at 17:57:36 from 72.77.120.222

Maybe you're taking my advice, Burt? I should publish an underground book on how to fly under the radar at church.

Great splits, BTW!

From Burt on Tue, Oct 12, 2010 at 18:44:48 from 206.19.214.144

Rhett - Ask Monson for a boundary exemption.

Chris - Yeah right. Next you're going to be asking for a device that sits on top of your lap that allows you to connect with friends across the sea instantly.

Chad - those little old splits? Ah, shucks.

BNS - I haven't forgotten your advice. It's pretty solid.

From Scott Wesemann on Tue, Oct 12, 2010 at 18:53:57 from 66.239.250.209

Hey, I like the shirt, but I really don't like the fact that it hides your sweat. This is kind of a photo fail.

From Burt on Tue, Oct 12, 2010 at 19:29:24 from 206.19.214.144

Don't forget the poor camera phone quality. This is one of my oldest running shirts. It stunk so bad when I took it off that I immediately threw it into the bath water that was running as my shower warmed up.

From Bec on Tue, Oct 12, 2010 at 19:41:03 from 67.172.233.189

?... That is all.

From Burt on Tue, Oct 12, 2010 at 19:45:29 from 206.19.214.144

Bec - are you questioning why Scott likes to see sweaty pictures of me? You'll have to ask him that.

From Lily on Tue, Oct 12, 2010 at 21:56:49 from 67.199.181.73

Wooohooo :)

From Merri on Tue, Oct 12, 2010 at 23:44:55 from 160.7.252.148

So you're a hp eh? Were you a bishop or just part of the ric?

From Burt on Wed, Oct 13, 2010 at 01:53:58 from 68.225.214.248

Believe me Merri, if I were a bishop, I'd be exercising all sorts of unrighteous dominion.

From Scott Wesemann on Wed, Oct 13, 2010 at 02:22:29 from 75.165.249.90

Burt- For the record, I don't enjoy it, but merely like pointing out the fact that you are... I mean were very hairy and also sweat quite profusely. These facts alone wouldn't draw speeecial attention from me per say, however your love of sharing via video and photo have brought me back again and again. It's kind of like watching a monkey throw poo at the zoo. Most people don't usually enjoy the sight or smell of poo, however it is hard not to watch when Mr. Ape wings a pile of poop at the glass. We will all watch and scream Ooooooo... ahhhhhh.. Eeeeeewwwww! :)

Yeah, I just compared your hair and sweat to monkey poo. haha.
