This morning I wanted to take Ginger on another run, but I know she's been struggling with 2.5 miles.  Not really struggling, but slowing way down.  So I figured it would be a good idea not to go farther than three miles.  I planned a route out that ended up being exactly three.  Nice.  Along the way I stopped at my friend's house to pick up my bicycle that my daughter had left there the day before.  I ran the last half mile home with a dog leash in one hand and dragging a bike with the other.

Time - 26:34 (avg. pace 8:51)

Splits - 8:32, 8:42, 9:24

A big congratulations to our very own Nan for coming in 3rd at the 20k National Championships.  She likes strawberries.

Day 65 P90X - Plyometrics X - A funny thing happened tonight.  I know this is a tough, tough workout, but I found myself wanting to feel the pain.  Nan must have inspired me.

Make it hurt so good! I'm with Chad, kudos for running with puppy and bike. That couldn't have been fun.

Congrats to Nan!!

Chad - I was going to walk it, but things don't always work out the way you plan them.

RAD - It actually was fun.

RP - Thanks. I know you're talking about my pictures.

From Nan on Fri, Sep 10, 2010 at 13:09:26 from 24.8.144.22

DANG IT!! I did it AGAIN!! Sheesh.

Hahaha! Thats hilarious Burt. I was wondering about your strawberry comment. Sorry it took me so long to see this. You should have done chocolate donut holes though. The licking my lips one is the best. :)

From Nan on Fri, Sep 10, 2010 at 13:11:53 from 24.8.144.22

The middle one is creepy though. I wouldn't mind if you took that down. All I can say is I'm really glad I didn't PAS in the final mile like I SO wanted to. That could have been risky.

From Burt on Fri, Sep 10, 2010 at 13:12:00 from 206.19.214.144

Thanks, uh Aaron. Hahaha!!! Told you it never gets old.

If you had posted your report before I posted this, I totally would have done donut holes. However, I'm pretty sure I have 'real' photographic evidence that you indeed do eat donut holes.

I like the guys dancing behind you in the licking lips one.

From Nan on Fri, Sep 10, 2010 at 13:14:29 from 24.8.144.22

Haha. Yes, I confess. My name is Nan and I'm a donut-hole-olic.

From Burt on Fri, Sep 10, 2010 at 13:14:53 from 206.19.214.144

Oh, and thanks for pitying me with your comment. I feel better now.

I approve of all of this.

Nice pace Burt!
