I was expecting a little more out of you. This sounds kind of like one of my blog posts... ZZZZZZZZZZZ.

Lily - I tried everything Melody suggested. Now I'm going to cry and see if that works. Next step will be to throw at the wall real hard. That usually does the trick.

Missy - Momma said there'd be days like this. I know you understand because it's been a while since you posted pictures.

Scott - sorry dude. I'll post pictures on today's entry. That should liven it up.

Some days are like that..even in Australia.

Yeah, I think my prob is too many blogs too soon..lol. Last August I didn't even have one blog..and now I have I guess 4 I'm keeping track of..

Oh I see you did one of the ARR summer series last year. You need to put a giant flashing sign next to your finish time stating that it's like 4 billion degrees and the race doesn't start early enough, and you're literally baking as the sun digs further into your farmers tan line, oh and it's dusty! I did I think 3 of the ARR 5k's one year. Requires more out of you than other 5ks.

You should try, I don't know if it's still run..but there is a 1/2 marathon done in Mesa on a canal....Called maybe "Half a Dam?" That one was pleasant too! That is I think first part of August.

Don't ever do that Marathon that is in Mesa...My friend ran (Think she did a 4hour) it one year, and they had no aid stations for the most part. So like 2 miles from the finish, there is an unmanned table with dirty cups all over the ground. There were a few jugs of water that runners were drinking out of..using dirty water cups to get their own water. It was awful.

I think what happened is there was a 5k or something on the same course and they pretty much whiped out the aid stations before the Marathoners came in.

Sorry I'm rambling..lol..

The races in Mesa are so expensive anyway. I did two of the ARR SS last year. The first one was pretty good. I set my post HS PR. The second one was just too hot. But I like them because they're fairly inexpensive. Did you know Terri Antonino? She's the one that puts on the Open Mile races every couple of months for ARR. Now I'm rambling.

From missy on Sun, May 09, 2010 at 17:50:28 from 63.230.6.3

Didn't actually involve myself with any of the race clubs..just went to some races. So nope, don't know Terri. :D
