Hooray for not being lazy!  Again this morning I took it nice and easy.  I still don't have a full range of motion with my right arm.  But it's starting to warm up, so I don't really want to push it anyway.  The old lady regular was out this morning pumping those arms.  She was wearing less clothes than usual, so I'll struggle to get that image out of my head for the rest of the day.  Ta ta!

Time - 46:12 (avg. pace 8:33)

Burt, I know your mile and 2 mile PRs are much faster than mine. But I have to tell you, 8:33 is not "taking it easy", even for 5 miles. Have you gone to the doctor? I could not tell from your blog entry.

I will get you some results later in the day, I have been swamped this weekend on a paper that I am trying to finish up (so I can work on relearning some things for a really hard class I am teaching this fall!!).

From Metcalf Running on Mon, Jun 29, 2009 at 12:47:40 from 207.225.192.66

I agree with Bonnie, Mr. Speedy 8:33 is not taking it easy!

From Burt on Mon, Jun 29, 2009 at 13:11:58 from 68.76.197.194

Phhhtt!! I ain't going to no stinkin' doctor.

I guess I usually run pushing my aerobic threshold. So 8:33 is completely anaerobic and seems easy.

From Rhett on Mon, Jun 29, 2009 at 13:14:23 from 74.41.249.102

I hope that image doesn't ruin you for life.

The old lady is hitting on you.

From JohnnyV on Mon, Jun 29, 2009 at 15:58:52 from 204.124.13.151

Nice workout. Good to see you are back at it. I am not sure less clothes will help the sweat level so I don't recommend following the old lady's example or she may be posting something similar in her blog.

From Burt on Mon, Jun 29, 2009 at 16:24:17 from 68.76.197.194

I don't have AC in my truck, and I drive with the window rolled down. It doesn't bother me, but when I got to work today I had a nice seatbelt sweat mark across my chest. What the heck? Shoulda rode my bike.

From Eric Day on Mon, Jun 29, 2009 at 17:40:49 from 189.192.121.253

Burt, save the planet, use your bike.

From Brent on Mon, Jun 29, 2009 at 21:15:44 from 168.178.30.75

Burt, give her a pat on the rear as you go buy, laughed at your entry. Run faster, wear dark glasses, she will never know its you?

Non-laughing note, hope your running goes well.

From Gumpy on Tue, Jun 30, 2009 at 11:06:12 from 75.148.140.221

Sounds like she's looking for a running buddy. You should run with her. You can do high knees and she can pump her arms. Ya'll would make a great set.

From Burt on Tue, Jun 30, 2009 at 12:36:39 from 68.76.197.194

You know what guys? Those are really great suggestions, but I'm going to have to pass.
