Day 87 P90X - Kenpo X - This is a good cardio workout.  I refereed for the last games of the season for the young men.  That was a good cardio workout, too.  It's funny how some people really get mad at the refs.  I think I used to be like that, too.

Well, people only get mad at lousy refs.... ;)

I am pretty lousy. My philosophy is most of the boys don't know what they're doing, so I just let a lot of the things go.

One thing I like about running, is there aren't any referees!

Church refs are the WORST!

From Burt on Fri, Oct 01, 2010 at 02:12:13 from 68.225.214.248

One week one of the parent's kept yelling at me. I didn't even realize it at first. Then I turned around and said, "I'm just letting them play." He was like, "Oh, thanks a lot." Then I told him he better watch it. lol!

From Scott Wesemann on Fri, Oct 01, 2010 at 02:19:50 from 75.165.249.90

My best church ref experience ever: I was playing in a game where one ref would make an occasional call, while the other shy ref wouldn't blow his at all. The game got quite physical as I recall and after I took a hard foul in the last half of the game I told the shy ref who was standing right there "just blow your whistle, just blow it once, call anything I don't care, hell give me a T". And he did. Everyone got a good laugh about that.

For the record: I rarely say anything to church refs. :)

LOL! I used to be that shy ref 'til a fist fight broke out. Gotta love church ball.
