Day 4 - P90X - Yoga X

I've done Yoga X 5 or 6 times now.  Today was strange because I was still so sore from the previous three days that it was hard to do some of the moves at the beginning that used to be not so hard.  But as I kept going, I pushed myself harder than I have to do the more advanced moves, and I was able to do them better than before.  I guess it's not that strange, but it was different.  So, all that stretching felt good.  Hopefully the soreness will go away soon.

I really need to get some running in.

Yes, get some running in! You have any marathons planned this fall?

My guess is your cross-training is going to build a lot of speed. I don't do it much but I should.

Burt- That reminded me of your best yoga picture ever:

I was wondering about the lack of running and whether you had injured yourself or something . . . Yoga X is probably the on P90X workout that I have never been all that fond of, maybe because you keep doing the same positions so many times, maybe because I'm just not that flexible.

Vinh - nope :(

Lily - I'll get out tonight.

flat - I think the cross training will help for sure. I start training my muscles in different ways and that in turn should increase my speed.

Scott - You are going to have an influx of visitors to your blog. Just watch.

James - The yoga has actually made me lose my cool before. LOL! But now I just focus on my breathing and my Qi. You should join us tonight for a run up in Las Sendas. We're meeting at the club house.

LOVE the yoga - looks like you're getting pretty good at it.

I think I'll have to take a raincheck on that run tonight, but let me know next time you're going to get together for a run, and I'll try to make it.
