Day 23 P90X - Core Synergistics

I don't care what SlowJoe says, this is an intense workout.  Recover week, my can.

**************************************************************************

These next couple of videos are for ChrisM.  Chris you may or may not know that Mormons abstain from alcohol.  Well, now you know for sure.  As I told you a couple of days ago, the power walker in that Snickers commercial is a staple in Mormon pop culture.  He raised a little controversy when he filmed the following commercial:

Later he filmed the following piece trying to justify his actions:

He says he needed the money.  Hmmm...I would have passed.  I like how Danny Ainge used to not accept the Miller Lite player of the game even though the money would go to charity.  Now that's a stand up guy.

I did know that Burt, but I didn't know about Kirby Heybourne. I guess he did not have his best thinking cap on that day!

So he is a bit controversial now?

From SlowJoe on Wed, Jul 28, 2010 at 05:44:13 from 214.13.130.104

What is synergistics anyway? I can wrap my tiny brain around "nipular" but not "synergistics".

My favorite Danny Ainge moment was when we (Rockets) were playing the Suns enroute to our first championship, winning by a large margin toward the end of the game, and Ainge chunks the basketball at one of our guy's head at point blank range (I forget who) on an inbound pass. He was tiny by NBA standards, but he was still not the guy to mess with.

From Nan on Wed, Jul 28, 2010 at 10:41:34 from 174.51.250.151

I've never seen that commercial. 'Cmon Kirby, you cant be that desperate for cash.

From Nan on Wed, Jul 28, 2010 at 10:43:01 from 174.51.250.151

Never seen the snickers one either but that is hilarious! Mr T! Isn't he like 70 by now?

From RAD on Wed, Jul 28, 2010 at 12:41:42 from 67.172.229.125

Wow..I've never heard any of this controversy. However, I agree with Nan. Nice work keeping up on the p90X.

From Scott Wesemann on Wed, Jul 28, 2010 at 12:48:07 from 66.239.250.209

Danny Ainge was a Sunday Sinner too Burt. yes, he played on Sundees.

From Lily on Wed, Jul 28, 2010 at 14:17:47 from 67.199.181.73

Synergistics is the bomb. So is sinner Sunday.

From Burt on Wed, Jul 28, 2010 at 14:26:21 from 206.19.214.144

Chris - Try as Kirby may, he'll never be as big a star as Napoleon Dynamite who has done some controversial things himself. So as long as he stays in ND's shadow, he'll be okay.

Joe - Suns players doing that kind of stuff are always justified, e.g. Raja Bell clotheslining Kobe Bryant.

Nan - Yep. My jaw hit the floor when I saw him. I was like, "That's Kirby Heyborne! Time to jump on Google and find out what's going on!" And I remember 16 years ago when Mr. T went on a Spanish game show. My companion and I laughed at his little dough boy gut.

RAD - thanks!

Scott - I'm beginning to think I should have never introduced you to Sundee.

Lily - I shouldn't have laughed at your comment, but I did.

Nice nipular vids.

From Burt on Wed, Jul 28, 2010 at 15:42:02 from 206.19.214.144

Yes. I thought they were quite Rivertonpaulish.

From ChrisM on Wed, Jul 28, 2010 at 15:53:50 from 86.173.192.233

Have you considered Nipular Protection?

From Lily on Wed, Jul 28, 2010 at 15:55:02 from 67.199.181.73

Nip guards!!! Saaweeet! :) Last Saturday during my race there were several men running without shirts. Can you blame them?

From Burt on Wed, Jul 28, 2010 at 16:00:23 from 206.19.214.144

How about I wear the nipguards and no shirt?

From Lily on Wed, Jul 28, 2010 at 16:01:10 from 67.199.181.73

So kind of like Lily pads? LOL

From ChrisM on Wed, Jul 28, 2010 at 16:07:35 from 86.173.192.233

You should totally do that!

And wear like five nipgaurds to confuse everyone

From Burt on Wed, Jul 28, 2010 at 16:13:08 from 206.19.214.144

Lily pads. Ha!

I could place five of them across my chest and start moving them around so people could guess which one the nipples were under. I like my get rich quick schemes.

From ChrisM on Thu, Jul 29, 2010 at 06:21:14 from 130.88.123.4

I was wondering what the word is to describe the tendency for an object to assume a nipular like shape. It must be the coefficient of nipularizability. Values range from one to zero

From RivertonPaul on Thu, Jul 29, 2010 at 11:27:32 from 67.42.27.114

Saw this last night on TV so I youtubed it.

From Burt on Thu, Jul 29, 2010 at 12:16:21 from 206.19.214.144

Chris - another acceptable term is chesticular or chesticularizability.
