Chilly!

What was supposed to be a quick 3 miles ended up a little longer and a little more effort than planned.  Blood glucose levels were dropping throughout necessitating a couple of Gu's along the way.  Good thing I took the Gu's ... returned home to a low glucose reading.

My wife ran like a jackrabbit.  I think she spent more time waiting or backtracking than just heading down the road!

Snow beneath whose chilly softness
Some that never lay
Make their first Repose this Winter
I admonish Thee

Blanket Wealthier the Neighbor
We so new bestow
Than thine acclimated Creature
Wilt Thou, Austere Snow?

Nice job watching those blood sugar levels. My brother-in-law passed away from complications of juvenile diabetes.

Sorry to hear about your brother-in-law, Burt.

I was fortunate to get Type 1 (juvenile) when I was in my '20s. Past adolescence (when most Type 1's struggle) and still alot of life to work towards living. I've been blessed to always have fairly tight control. Hope to live a quality life well into my later years. I'll work toward it anyway.
