Sweet Malan's run tonight.  Trail was an icey bobsled run but I managed to keep two on the ground most of the time.  Felt easy for some reason, one of those peak runs where you run out of trail, but wish there was more in front of you. Alpenglow and chilly breeze made it feel like winter again.

Nice run. I was thinking of hitting malans tomorrow with Chad. Ya it's me - Nick. I'll get you # from HairDog and we'll stay in touch. I'm shooting for my first 50k with Buffalo any advice...Later.

That's cool, I did a night trail run too, did you run it in the dark?

Nick, Have fun on Malan's if you go, bring your spikes! Advice on a 50k? . . .run that way really fast, if something gets in your way, turn. Seriously, I dont know what I am doing so advice would be best taken for the penny-and-a-half it's worth, but eat and drink before you think you need to. Let's round up HD custom and get out soon!

Aaron, No I finished at dark, great sunset from the top though. How 'bout you, night, like dark, run?? what do you use for lighting? always curious what works for people.

Yeah, I ran to the top of green mtn last night and got up there around midnight. I just had an led headlamp on my waiste and 1 on my head and it was plenty for a snowy trail run. I think I was kind of slow though, and I think on dirt I would want brighter light.
