I played basketball last night. I feel pretty good today. My achilles isn't back to normal yet, but it's not too bad. I'm pretty sure it is related to some soreness on the bottom of my foot, near the arch. It seems that my left foot is a little flat footed, and running on it has strained both the bottom of my foot and my achilles. I haven't been doing my calf exercises for the past week, because after doing them once last week, my achilles was starting to hurt. My current plan is to start doing the calf exercises again next week and hopefully be ready to start running again the following week. I've missed running a lot (although I have enjoyed sleeping in an hour each day). |
