I'm back, hopefully.  I was running a lot during the fall and early winter, but apparently too much.  My achilles started to hurt and it has been aching a little ever since.  I'm not certain it's back to 100% yet, but it feels pretty good, and I'm supposed to run the St George marathon in a few months, so I need to get running.

I'm definitely out of running shape.  It's a little frustrating to be starting all over again.  During the past 6 months, I have run maybe 5 times.  However, I have a hard time just sitting around and letting my achilles rest.  I've been playing ultimate frisbee for a couple of hours once a week and I've been biking about 30 miles per week.

I plan to take it easy.  It is my opinion that my injury came about because I was putting in too many miles without rest.  I kept doing 7 mile days back to back to back to back.  I hope to stagger the distances and cross train a little more.

You should probably have started with 5, and at a slower pace, then warmed into a higher mileage.

Bryan,

I'm using the website again. I mixing biking with running and trying to get back into things. I'm sorry about how the St. George thing turned out.

Zac
