I have, I really have! :) I am just so happy. Ogden is that much more of a reality now! But you said it exactly right, there are many marathons to run...I'll be sick of them before long. =0) I'll be careful. Good luck tomorrow on your tempo run, you will do GREAT!

And good luck tomorrow, too, Teena, whatever you end up doing, it's so good to see you running again even with how sick you were!! Thanks for the smiley faces, I really am so happy!

Thanks for the article Paul, it's a good one. I laughed because I look exactly like those pictures - when I'm at home I have my backpack chuck full of my biggest nursing books and when I'm at the gym I'm on that exact weight machine. The one at the gym totally needs to be greased because it makes a squeaking sound with every rep. It sounds really....weird if you can imagine. =0) And yet I forget to ask the front desk to oil it everytime. Oh well... Oh, and I do both feet everytime just in case. I'm determined to make sure NEITHER of my achilles EVER gets injured AGAIN!!!! I hope your recovery is coming along nicely!

Nice work on those miles Brooke! It is SO nice to come back from an injury and just start feeling your legs come back to life :)

Paul, that looks like a good thing for everyone to add to their routine. I get shin splints occasionally, but haven't ever had it move to the achilles (knock on wood), but I'd do it just to prevent it! Simple and easy way to keep the injury fairy away.
