I love running on Monday mornings.  Last Tuesday was my last 12 hour weekly psych clinical for the semester and it's amazing what having 12 hours of life back during the week can do!  Also, we were able to go on a mini family vacation this weekend and I didn't have to rush home to get a shift in Sunday night like I usually do in order to go on a trip...I had the entire weekend off.  Life is looking up!  While there, I took a nice scenic jog in the 8,000 feet elevation...nothing like running later in the morning, in a t-shirt and shorts, surrounded by lots of snow, watching skiers fly down the mountain. :)

So HAPPY to hear you had a FANTASTIC vacation over the weekend! Which ski resort did you run at?

Thanks Smooth! :) We were at Snowbird. I ran up to Alta and then back down. I hope you're doing well! :)

This is all good stuff, Baby!!! :)

I remember when Ry finished law school ... it was like we were able to date all over again. :) :) :)

(I'm already excited for 3 years from now when we can have that experience again. It is seriously amazing!!!)

Honestly, I don't know how you are keeping above water with your schedule. I don't remember ever being as busy as you currently are, even when I was in graduate school. And sleep deprivation to boot. You are doing a great job. No wonder you are having dreams about your crazy Physiology Prof. ;)

RAD - Thanks! BTW, nice track workout today!

Teena - That is so true! And it definitely makes the times we DO have together very fun. How did you guys survive without texting?? Honestly we feel like we "see" each other a lot because we're texting any chance possible. I'm excited for you to have your life back in 3 years, too! It will be here before you know it. You almost have 1 semester done already!!

Matt - wow, that really means a lot...even when you were in grad school?? It does helps that I have no kids, I live 1.5 miles away from work/school, it was only for 16 months (you can do ANYTHING for 16 months) and I have James who was custom made "to get Brooke through nursing school" haha. :) Sometime on one of our next runs, I'll pass lots of time by telling you guys 1) the incredible side effects this schedule has produced and 2) the reasons why I chose to maintain this self-destructive schedule...I'll just say it was NOT to get attention nor was it just to save a little money LOL! :)
