2) Break 6:00/mile pace for a 5K

1) Continue running for fitness, relaxation and spiritual renewal
2) Possibly take a shot at three hours in the marathon
Super-strong 20 in warm temperatures, but low humidity. Water and 9 oz. of gatorade. One pit stop early then no problems. Average pace 7:53
Progression on hotel treadmill down to 6:44 for the final half mile.
Alternated between indoor track and treadmill at parents' health club. Average pace of 8:00 for 14 miles. A little short on water, but felt fine.
Intervals on the treadmill. 5 x 1200 at 6:00/mile with 400 recovery jog.
Hot and humid miles with DW and the around old neighborhood.
Very hot and humid at river.
