AM - easy 5.5 miles this morning - kept my HR under 70% which made the pace rather slow on a very warm and humid morning.  Felt a bit sluggish and constrained by the forced easy effort.  Whenever my pace and HR would creep up a little bit - I would actually feel better - but I kept backing off.  Flight to SLC is later this afternoon.

Good luck Monday! One of the advantages to running with Rob is that you will get your picture taken and put in the local paper. Every time..

Seriously, kick some butt you guys. I'll see you after the race.

Hey Bret, Good luck in the marathon it looks like conditions are going to be perfect for fast times:) I ran in Florida for a week about a month ago and had the chance to experience your heat. Did a lot of my runs at night at the orange lake resort on the cart paths in the dark. Was fine until one day I saw an alligator and then I ran scared every night.Fire flies were cool. They can of mess with your mind when you are not conditioned for them. Every time I would see one I would think it was a biker coming with a light on. Made me jump a few times. See you Monday.
