5K: 21:26 (2005)

4 mile: 28:10 (2005)

10K: 43:33 (2010)

10 mile: 1:13:35 (2009) (1:12:15 split in 1/2 marathon, 2011)

1/2 marathon: 1:34:31 (2011)

marathon: 3:19:15 (2013)

Short-Term Running Goals:

3:20 marathon - Eugene Marathon, April 28, 2013 (can I say I really want a sub 3:20? but I will be happy with 3:20-3:23) -- whoohoo!

Some good intermediate races 15K - 1/2 marathon, to gauge my fitness level (done this, hit a 1:34:35 1/2 marathon in March 2013, on a hilly course)

Going after my 10 mile PR in Fall 2013

Maybe some good 10K races after the infernal Arizona summer is over!

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to be one of those runners who is still running in their 80s (or 90s?).  You know the ones, who look all grisley and fit?  That is what I would like!  Until then, I just want to work hard and be as fast as I can, for as long as I can.

AM: (8 miles, 1:12:48).  Very hot, 94.3F ... 27% humidity (go ahead and laugh, it is humid for here ;-) ).  Just as I thought, the heat costs me 15-20 secs/mile.  I knew I should have gotten out earlier, the air conditioner was on at 6AM, which means ... well, that it is summer ;-).

PM: easy 4

Have a wonderful weekend bloggers!!!

Hello MacK -- Thank you! This made me giggle. I have been keeping an eye on your blog too, despite the fact that you have been, how do I say it, "a little lacking in detail" (read "boring") as of late ;-). Hope all is well, when is your next race?

I know, everyone gives me a hard time about not blogging anything. I am racing a local 5K this next weekend and the Utah Valley Marathon on June 11. Began tapering last week and LOVIN it! How about you? Whats next?

The only race I really know about is Houston (in January -- I get to watch the OT the day before, how cool is that?). I will probably run at least a 1/2 in the Fall, but I don't know before that. It is too hot to race here now, and I am unmotivated to find a race outside of here, although I have been contemplating the TOU 1/2 ... I love that race. I am just not sure if the altitude would kill me now.

Good luck on the 5K and you are going to rock Utah Valley ... you seem to be really putting in the work!

My friend Holly is going to do the Houston Half and if Michelle qualifies this weekend I will be there. I missed the early entry but I will be there either for the half or Full. I'm so excited for Michelle this weekend and hope it all goes well! Come do the TOU half, you can stay with me and I will run it too ! :)
