5K: 21:26 (2005)

4 mile: 28:10 (2005)

10K: 43:33 (2010)

10 mile: 1:13:35 (2009) (1:12:15 split in 1/2 marathon, 2011)

1/2 marathon: 1:34:31 (2011)

marathon: 3:19:15 (2013)

Short-Term Running Goals:

3:20 marathon - Eugene Marathon, April 28, 2013 (can I say I really want a sub 3:20? but I will be happy with 3:20-3:23) -- whoohoo!

Some good intermediate races 15K - 1/2 marathon, to gauge my fitness level (done this, hit a 1:34:35 1/2 marathon in March 2013, on a hilly course)

Going after my 10 mile PR in Fall 2013

Maybe some good 10K races after the infernal Arizona summer is over!

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to be one of those runners who is still running in their 80s (or 90s?).  You know the ones, who look all grisley and fit?  That is what I would like!  Until then, I just want to work hard and be as fast as I can, for as long as I can.

Happy Monday back at'cha Bonnie! I haven't said hi for a while. It was fun to read of your experiences in Spain! Glad you are home safe and sound.

Wow!! that is pretty cool! I think I was in either 513 or 523 B (a basement apartment about 3 rowhouses from H) - it wasn't a great neighborhood then, but SO convenient to everything. I was sad to hear about the Eastern Market fire, I would walk over to do my grocery shopping there every Saturday!

Hey, I saw on Shauna's blog that you are moving to AZ? Cool (or should I say HOT?)--welcome to the Grand Canyon State!

From Brent on Mon, Jun 09, 2008 at 22:06:02

Bonnie, hey, best to you in AZ. We did the spinning class at Murray Park Center, 6 p.m. class. It would be a breeze for you. cost is $4, come join us next monday, get there about 15 minutes early to warmup. Also, may run a lap or two around liberty park wood chips next week to test the knee, likely on tuesday, 5 a.m. or so.

Thanks Brent, it won't be for a few months so I am sure we will be seeing each other before we move. It has been a very stressful time making this decision (especially since we just moved here) - but in the end U of Arizona made us offers that we really could not ignore.

I will either see you on Monday or Tuesday !
