PR's

5K: 21:26 (2005)

4 mile: 28:10 (2005)

10K: 43:33 (2010)

10 mile: 1:13:35 (2009) (1:12:15 split in 1/2 marathon, 2011)

1/2 marathon: 1:34:31 (2011)

marathon: 3:19:15 (2013)

Short-Term Running Goals:

3:20 marathon - Eugene Marathon, April 28, 2013 (can I say I really want a sub 3:20? but I will be happy with 3:20-3:23) -- whoohoo!

Some good intermediate races 15K - 1/2 marathon, to gauge my fitness level (done this, hit a 1:34:35 1/2 marathon in March 2013, on a hilly course)

Going after my 10 mile PR in Fall 2013

Maybe some good 10K races after the infernal Arizona summer is over!

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to be one of those runners who is still running in their 80s (or 90s?).  You know the ones, who look all grisley and fit?  That is what I would like!  Until then, I just want to work hard and be as fast as I can, for as long as I can.

AM: (8 miles, 1:12:13).  Beautiful day -- I got to sleep in until 7AM and it was still only 70F when I went on my run!

PM: easy 4.

This is such a great weekend for racing:  Chicago Marathon, Tufts 10K (womens USA Championships), and Boston 1/2 marathon, Long Beach 1/2 (GO ANDREA)!!!

Also, today is the Kona Ironman Championships (Go Kim Loeffler!!  She placed 2nd in the Ironman Canada in August and is on pace for a spectacular race this year!)

Have a wonderful weekend bloggers!

I love that if I need any info of what's up in the running world you are far better than ESPN. Nice runs Bon :)

Hi Dan, love to hear from you. You will be back in no time, but take it easy.

As always, great consistent miles Bonnie. Are your daily (or nightly) easy 4 miles always run in the same location?

I'm psyched to see how things go for Jake and Andrea tomorrow. And Ryan Hall for that matter.

Hi JD, when I can make it home before it gets dark, I run my evening runs on the same course (estimated a couple years ago to be about 37-40 mins long). When I can't make it home, I run somewhere from 36-40 mins ... close enough ;-). You are keeping it pretty consistent yourself these days! Good job!

Nevels ... Hope all is well. I hope all is well. I am kind-of thinking about coming out "your way" for either the Tom King 1/2 or the Moon Pie run (in Bell Buckle -- you would LOVE this 10 miler). Hopefully, we will cross paths!

oh, Nevels -- I am running Stump Jump next year for my 50th birthday -- will you be there???
