Bad race, then I did a 54 second 400m after it which was ok for a post race. Then I ran over 57 minutes along the beach trail at a fast pace, I kept picking it up to put bikers in their place. I ran past a group of French girls on bikes and was like Je parle Francais aussi! But I don't actually speak French that well yet and am horrible at understanding it so I didn't really understand anything they said and they were biking at like 9 minute mile pace so I kept going haha. But there were also a lot of bikers who were just talking to themselves... Los Angeles is a very weird place. Also a lot less people wave back at you when you wave at them, I did see a few serious runners though, and they were pretty cool. Also I think the number of handicapped people here is very high because A LOT of people act very...unusual around here. It was very beautiful to run along side the ocean with all the mist coming off of it from the hurricane (I think), it was a very good run, lots of fun! Too cold and then tide is too strong to surf today I think, probably just gonna hang out on the beach and play volleyball. |
