Lifted
chest and back before I jogged 3 miles on the ISU treadmill in my new Asics
shoes.
Chest:
5
sets of 12-20 reps on the seated bench press cable machine. I alternated grip position.
3
sets of 10-15 reps on the seated incline bench press cable machine (in
corner).
Back:
3-4
sets of 12-20 reps of cable pull-downs with the pull-up bar attachment going in
front of my head. Something felt "tweaked" in my front left shoulder
during all sets. I may have injured my shoulder playing with my parent's dog
over the weekend.
2-3
sets of 12-15 reps on the seated row cable machine near the pull up station.
Abs:
2
sets of sit-ups on the incline machine
1
set of roman chair leg lifts
1
set of crunches on the ab machine (in corner)
Jogging:
Increased
rate from 5.6 at beginning of run, up to 7.0 on my last lap. I used my new Asics shoes and the run
felt very good. I think the shoes make a big difference. I probably could have gone 4 or 5 miles
at a slightly slower pace without much more difficulty.
