Really a disappointing run today to end the week. My legs felt awesome!! Stomach was killing me. Lets just say that this has been the story of my life!!

The plan was to run 13 miles around 6:45 to 7:00 min pace then hit a 4 to 5 mile tempo at 5:30 pace. Got 1.50 miles in and had to stop. Today was a record 5 bathroom breaks which caused me to cut my run about 2 miles short. Like I said disappointing!!

Seriously, have you spent some time with a doctor about this? You could sure pick up some time if you found what's causing this all.

steve

I have talk to one doctor and the only thing he said was to take a sapository to clean me out. But I think that would make me dehydrated. I don't know, I have seriously tried everything!!

Hey,Ben if you are in Slc next weekend come run the Running of the Leopards 5K, will have plenty of Porta- pottys along the way:0. No, I have had similar troubles usually after my long runs though. Last year at SL marathon I decided to try caffeine and it was a mistake, really was hard on my stomach the whole way. Have you tried just some plain white bread before you run? I find it soaks up some of the acid and doesn't make me feel as off. Have tried tummys before because of the calcium with some success. Hope you find the solution to the problem.

Hey bill thanks for the advice. How early do you eat the white bread before a run? Also have you heard of this stuff called prevent??? I guess you take it before you run and it prevents you from going to the bathroom. I will try that for next weeks long run.
