Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to accomplish my short term goals first... Once I do that, I will have an idea of what to expect long term... 44 yrs old now and since I've been injured free for 1 month I am jumping back on marathon training. Any recommendations for a good marathon in December 2021? What is your recommendation?

Personal:

Don't knock it until you try it.

I honestly think I ran a bit tired at the Edinburg 10k today's run was effortless and I was well rested. I guess some days you have it and some days you don't ! I hope the marathon doesn't turn out to be like this and I hope I have it!

Way to keep the ridiculously fast pace. South Texas is gonna suck pretty soon! In Abilene the low is around 80 in mid-summer so I'm sure Laredo will not be fun in a couple months. Good luck.

Yup that's why I gotta enjoy it! avg temp here in the summer is 101 lol

Great "effortless" run. That is the challenge we all face, having that perfect day come together for the big event.
