Did a track workout with Spencer today...He's been prepping me for this for about week. Ive been a little nervous for it. Did a 2.25 mile warm up over to Timp high school track. I paced Spence for the next 3 miles 7:12 then a .25 slow run to catch my breath, 7:12 then a .25 walk, 7:17...I'm pretty sure the goal was to have a faster last mile but I was huffing and puffing the last .50. It was nice to have some encouragement from Spence and the high school stds clapping for us as we went around the track. Then another mile back to work.
That was tough!
