Mtn run today. First 2 miles were 741 feet gain, 9:40 pace. I continued around the mtn down to Provo canyon and looped back around to work. Way hot today!11 total, 8:12 pace. One day maybe I can keep up with Spencer S.

Ran the streets of Draper, canal trail, and the porter Rockwell trail. The first 4.5 were at a slight grade. I was feeling sluggish, maybe from yesterday's run in the sun. Tonight was overcast and the temperature felt great! 7:21 pace. 

*Fast miles for me are sub 7:00.

Out n back here in Orem. 5 easy today, did some fartleks during mile 3. Ran with my coach, Spencer. This guy is a beast of a runner, he's helped me improve my running drastically and I'm looking forward to the continued ride. Long run tomorrow! #makeithappen

Only ended up doing 11 of my intended 15 miles today. I woke up bright n early to only see rain outside. Thought about the treadmill but eliminated that thought as quick as possible. Drank my pre workout to force myself to go run in the rain. Ran from home over to the JRT. Met this cool guy Scott on the trail, we ran about 2 miles together, I'm glad we did cause he ended up pushing the tempo. After being completely SOAKED decided I had enough. Wasn't worried about my pace today.

My body had a hard time making it out the door this morning. Did an out in back from home to the JRT. The first 5 mi I was feeling very tight, the next 6 mi were not as bad. Overall wasnt feeling the best today. Almost got bit by a lab and I also saw a fox...quite the adventures run today. Easy miles 7:57AP

After over eating (cookies, licorice, breakfast burritos, sandwiches etc) this morning here at my dad's cabin, I decided I better go for a run and burn at least the cookie calories. Started from the cabin in Garden City, ran to the marina in Bear Lake, then just followed the trail around some of the lake. The hill back to the cabin was some great preparation for the Deseret News marathon. Easy mile due to the full stomach. 8:04AP
