Attended Japanese high school and finished in March 2020. Was very lucky to be able to be a member of a very good team of runners at my high school, even though I was injured most of the time and was not able to be much of a contributor. Am currently doing an Engineering internship at a large manufacturer of Automotive transmissions, etc. It is really exciting. In spring of 2021, if COVID-19 has subsided, I am planning to serve an LDS mission, after which I plan to go to college and study Engineering.

A little over a week ago my doctor told me I could start running again. I have been a little scared to start because I was afraid of the same thing happening to me again.

But today I finally got up enough courage to run again. It felt amazingly good and I was able to breathe easy with no problems at all.

I ran a half mile warm up.

Then I ran 2 miles at 7:00 min/mile pace. I took it easy because I don't want to push it too hard.

I finished up with a half mile cool down.

I have a CT scan this Friday. Hopefully it will show that the blood clots are gone.

I will be serving an LDS mission as soon as my doctor gives me the OK. Maybe I will write more about that later.

Anyway it is good to be running again.

I'm glad it is going better. Not being able to run or do the things I love is what scares me the most about COVID.

Happy to see you running again. I would like to hear more about how you joined the Church.

Thanks everyone!!

Sasha...I credit the FRB for my joining the church. Some of the bloggers on here invited me to watch General Conference when I was living in Salt Lake City. I did. I then visited Temple Square and met some missionaries. Except for Zack those bloggers who invited me to listen to conference are no longer posting on the FRB, but I am forever grateful to them all.
