| Wow, I can't believe it has been a week since I last ran. We've been fighting the flu in our family and although I didn't get it like the rest of them, I have been super tired, achy and run-down this week. I'm finally feeling a little more energy. I just need to get to bed earlier so that I can get up early. My days are so busy, that I can't really run after 7 am. My goal for the next few weeks will be to run at least 4 days a week

| I actually got up early and ran with my friends today and I'm glad I did. It was fun to see them and chat, but the run felt tough because I lost a little conditioning over the holidays. I'll get it back

| Quick treadmill workout up at Brianhead. I was super lazy all morning, then finally when I got a chance to run, I only had 20 minutes, so I tried to push the pace a little. It was hard to breathe up there at 10,000 feet!

| I only had a short amount of time to run on the treadmill. Before we went to Cozumel so I cranked up the treadmill for 20 minutes and made it about 2.8 miles

| Nice slow and easy run on the sand at Playa del Carmen. It was funny to see that the parties were still going on by the bars on the sand and a few people passed out on the beach

| It took me a few days to get back on track after my trip. I finally woke up early this morning to get out and run. I ran the tempo run with the running club. This was tough since I haven't run very much lately, but I did a little better than I thought I would. I averaged 7:34 for the tempo portion and each of the miles were pretty consistent. Definitely some room to improve, though

| Tempo run with the running club. I went a little further than last week and increased my pace just a little. I had the stomach flu on Tuesday and Wed, so I did feel a little tired from that during this run. My splits for the tempo miles were: 7:20, 7:29, 7:21, 7:29, 7:39(with the hill). I feel like that is a good start for this season. I'm running a 1/2 marathon in 3 weeks and I don't feel very trained for it. Oh well, It'll be fun no matter what my time is.

| I ran dog town half marathon course with the running club. I'm glad I checked out the course before the race since it has changed quite a bit. There are a couple of more pills been in the past. This was such a beautiful run.
