A slight drizzle this morning but overall warm 38 degrees. My work signed up for the wasatch back in June so I guess I need to get back in shape for it. 30 min.
|
| | Slept in this morning so I ran tonight. Just a quick two miles to get some miles in. 16:56 |
| |
played basketball for 1.5 hours
|
| | played ball for 1.5 hours |
| | 20 degrees with a slight breeze makes for a cold run. My legs are always stiff in the morning so it takes me a while to get up to speed. 30:26 |
| | It was nice and warm today, 48 degrees. Just ran a slow 3 miles shins were hurting still. |
| | Woke up late this morning so I only got 2 miles in before I had to head off to work. |
| | Ran 4 miles this morning 26 degrees. Time 36:45. Left shin is still hurting, i'm trying to keep ice on it as much as possible. |
| | It was another cold one this morning. 24 degrees. The legs take me a while to get loosened up. Run up 4800 for 15 min and then back for a total of 31 min. Shin still hurting a little but I have been trying to keep the ice on and the basketball to a minimum. |
| | Got up a little late so I only got 2 miles in on the treadmill before work. |
| | I'm a little behind in my reporting, I remember I ran 3 miles but that is about it. |
| | The mornings are getting nicer, although I forgot to look at the temp before I left. I still had on my winter gear and it was 45 degrees. Needless to say I was hot during the run. At least there was a good breeze to help cool me off. 27 min. I have a big knot in my left calf. It hurts. |
| | I probably need to start naming my runs so I can remember which routes I take and how well I do. Anyways this morning the legs were tired so it was a very slow pace. 33 min. |
| | Had to go to Park City early today so I just did a quick 2 miles on the TM. |
| | Really couldn't have had a better morning. 55 degrees with a slight breeze. Got my 4 miles in. The shins were hurting a little but the knee has been bugging me again so I really intend to take it slow as I begin to increase my mileage. |
| | Welcome back winter. It was a blustery 33 degrees and blowing snow this morning. I thought I was a popcicle at the half way point. Good thing I ran into the wind first. 3 miles 30 min nothing to taxing. |
| | I had a moment of weakness this morning. After running in the cold and snow yesterday, I broke down and ran on the treadmill this morning. I did 25 min with a good warmup and warm down so my ending mileage was low but overall a decent pace for the middle part. |
| | Just did it on the TM, I'm tired of the cold. |
| | Ran for 45 minutes today it wasn't too bad, legs felt tired and cold but ran slow and easy. |
| | Got up late so I just got in 2 miles. |
| | Ran for 30 min. it was a little windy and 35 degrees wasn't too bad. My legs felt good for about the first half and then the felt a little fatigued in the middle section. Overall a good run for me. |
| | Ran extended this morning. Legs were really tired and my hamstring felt tight so I took it real slow and easy. 33 min. |
| |
I was a blistery 35 degrees and windy this morning. I hope spring comes soon. I ran the furthest I have ran in a long time both in miles and in time and my legs felt it about the last half mile. My left shin is still burning after my runs so I am still icing hoping that takes care of it. 47 min.
|
| | Ran 4 miles this morning in about 36 min. Overall not too bad, when I got done though my shins were really hurting. I iced and went to work. |
| | It was raining in the morning and I have yet to buy any rain gear so I decided to wait until I got home from work to run. It was nice low 50's a breeze, perfect weather. Shins hurt but overall not too bad. 25:36 |
| | The left shin is still hurting so I rode my bike for 45 min. Little did I know that my tires were flat so I turned around earlier than I would have liked. Iced afterwards |
| | Ran extended this morning in 30 min, not a bad pace for the morning. My shin hurt off and on but not too bad. I really thought that it was getting better and I was on the mend but this afternoon I was just shooting some hoops with my boy and the leg hurt pretty good. I think I just might bike it this week and see what happens. |
| | Ran with Nick Kippen this morning. It has been a long time since we ran together. It was a decent pace and the shin hurt just a little. Time 31:57 |
| | No ball this morning so I got up and ran 4 miles up 4800. I hate that hill. |
| | I have always chickened out of my long runs so the longest I have ran in a long time is just over 4 miles. It was suppose to rain but when I got up it hadn't started yet so I hurried and got out there. Around mile 4 the rain really began to come down in sheets, it was cool to be running in the rain again. Shins hurt I will ice this weekend. Time 55 min. |
| | Just an easy run up 4800 and back. not too fast or too slow. 35 min. I think I have come to the realization that my shins will never heal so I should just shut up and run. |
| | Not a bad run this morning, it would be nice to not have to run by myself all the time but oh well. Legs were tight and they didn't want to move today but I trudged through it. |
| | Dave was in one of those moods to run fast again and its been awhile since we have ran around the bdo. We started at 7:15 pace for the first mile than dropped down to mid 6 pace for most of the second mile and came through the two mile mark at 13:55. Dave started to leave me in the dust at this point, legs were falling off and finding it hard to breath. 3 mile 21 min. 4th mile just trying to stay relax and push it but not overly pushing it, if that makes sense. Finished in 28 min. Dave finished in 27 min. The shins seem to hurt less the faster I go, that doesn't make any sense to me. |
| | Ran the old 6000 loop. Ran with Nick again and he felt good or else I don't think I would have made it. My legs hurt all the way thru this run. I hope that the nice and easy run did more good than bad and hopefully I can get my shins back in order. I will be running the 11 leg of the wasatch back in six weeks so I need to get into better shape. 55 min. |
| | Ran down by the Weber River this morning with Nick for an ok 4 miles. 33min My left shin is still in pain. I really don't know what to do to get rid of it. I have looked through some of the injury blogs and I'm currently trying to do some of the stretches and exercises. I have also put on about 8 lbs since mid April, unexplained??? As long as it is all muscle I could use some more as I am still underweight by a lot. |
| | I went to the doctors yesterday because my leg was still hurting. It turned out that I have a torn ligament and have to wear a boot for 3 weeks and then he will reevaluate it. I hope that I can still run the wasatch back. I rode the bike today for 40 min. |
