Track work. Had one of the best workouts ever. I felt incredible strong and didn't get taxed, even in the heat. Ran all the intervals progressive and finished each strong but in control. 5x 1000 in ~3:06, 5x 200 in ~32. Equal time floats.
Woke up with a very sore hip flexor. So strange. I rolled and stretched and soaked last night and felt great. No indicators that anything was amiss. Off day
Jogged a mile before the race and decided to pull the plug. Bummed because I would have won this small one but it's not worth it. Taking the rest of the week off.
