I took 9 weeks off running for an angry hip flexor/hip. Strength building. PT. Some cardio. Pretty much all the same stuff I did last time I was injured on the other side, with some modifications and minus the medical expenses.

I feel mostly great and strong and have been able to get in some trail shuffling/hiking. Loafer, Nebo, Squaw, Y mountain, etc. It's beautiful out right now, my favorite time of year.

The hip is still sore. Especially on downhill or pretty much any time I crack 10 minute pace. I went to the best Dr. in all the land last week and we're zeroing in on what to do.

MRI on Thursday. Positive energy this way will be so appreciated. Best of luck to all you guys running STG and other fall races. See you soon!
