Early solo canyon run, had a family reunion to get to. Started from the soccer park at 4:40am and ran easy up past south fork park 10 miles in 1:12.

6 mile tempo to start the return in 34:58 (5:49 pace). Tried to cruise easy the last 4 but it's hard to slow down after the turnover going back down the canyon. Finished the return 10 miles in 1:01. Feeling good about the upcoming races. Total time for the 20 miles was 2:13, 6:39 avg.

Congratulations to my friend and running buddy Scott on the win today! So awesome to see! And all class on top of it. I am grateful to have training partners that let me chase them around during the week. I continue to be inspired by all of them.

Dude, that is a great long run with some solid tempo miles. Nicely done! I'd say you're in for some amazing experiences. Keep your arms and legs inside the cart at all times, hold on, and have fun :-)

The feelings are mutual. Thanks for your friendship and support.
