Okay, I know I have not been blogging, but I don't have anything good to say.  I have run about 15-20 miles since Top of Utah.  The problem I was having worsened after the marathon.  I don't know but the rest doesn't seem to make it heal up any faster.  It has been narrowed down to the Satorius and the Vaso Med. bundle.  Pain on impact at stride.  I can run in place and be fine.  I've tried anti inflammatories, ice, rest, massage, ART, and just time off.  I will be running STG.  How fast is unclear.  I will try to hit my goals and just tough it out.  I have read about how some people get anxious and can't wait to run during a taper.  This is the first time I have felt that way in a taper.  I want to run so bad, but have been holding off.  I am excited for the race.  I wish there were not so many unknowns, out of my control, with my body.

Stay positive and it will all work out for you.

That is very unfortunate that you have not been able to heal quickly. I hope that you will be able to finish the marathon close to your goal. I will be looking for you to work together.

Sorry to hear about your injury. Take care of yourself and I hope that you have a good SGM and don't inflame the injury.

Thats a shame Bill on your injury. Hope you can overcome it and still have a great run at Saint George. Good luck and have a great time!

Bill, are you still alive or what?

I am new at this but it sounds like you have at the very least the attitude to keep going no matter what. How much time have you given the rest with ice and heat combined with the IBU or Naproxen? Have you tried physical therapy? I hope it works out for you, and don't give up no matter what!!!

Congrats on the Ogden marathon. Looks like it is time to come and blog again.

Congrats on Ogden! Wow! You've gotta come back to the blog so we can take partial credit for your amazingness! (Just kidding--but do come back!)
