rough morning.  After warming up nice a slow for 2 miles, my right calf muscle started to pull.  I continued on and finished the run, walking the last 1/2 mile or so and it's obvious that I need to take hopefully only a couple days break.  I iced my calf a couple times today and that seemed to help.  Hopefully tomorrow after a day of rest it will be better by Wed....en verra...

Was able to run nice and easy this morning.  Warmed up walking for about 1/2 a mile to see how the calf felt and then jogged easy for about 4 miles.  Last 1/2 mile walked to cool down.  Felt much better but still slightly pulled.  Will put in a few more miles tomorrow and see how it goes.

run felt pretty good this morning.  First 5 miles my calf felt fine but felt it start to pull just a twinge, so decided to not push it and walk the last mile.

Ran 6 x 1 mile repeats HARD.  w.u. 1 mile.  c.d. walked for about 10 minutes.

 predicted marathon pace: 9:41

predicted finish: 4:13:42

target finish 4:05

 Have some work to do.  Might have slowed down a bit just because it's quite warm and humid.  Just wears on me.  I pushed hard on every mile and walked about 5 minutes in between each mile.  Next weekend will be a 26 miler.

 Boy am I thankful for a runny partner who pushes me!
