Stepped out the door and heard Couch's Spadefoot Toads calling. It had poured rain earlier. I got a few sprinkles on my run and got to see two toads on the road. First one was quite big, second one medium sized. Solid improvement over yesterday's run. Ran .89 before HR monitor told me to walk.

I'm surprised we don't have any toads in our backyard. It's a dad gum swamp. My dog would probably eat them if we did.
