Just enough time to squeak in a quick run on the Shoreline trail before heading to work. This is ending up to be one of those weeks that will just not have any time left for the running hobby. That's even with dropping down to 4 hours of sleep a night to get everything done. Came home yesterday from a two day trip and the kid's cat had her kittens. The girls have not set them down for the entire morning and begged me to not go to work so they could just sit and hold them for the rest of the day. I head out to New York tonight and then off to spend the weekend in San Diego playing. Maybe even get in a half marathon if time permits.

So sorry about the kittens. :) You know there are things you can do to keep that from happening.

There is this concept called a "recovery week". You may have read about it in some running books? I know it was purely accidental and against your will and you will probably only manage 60 or 70 miles this week, but you could have just told everyone that it was a planned rest week and we all would have thought you were smart.
