Early morning at the gym. Ten mile tempo at 6 pace. Getting in the run before the day begins. With a day off and a million things to do, the best option I'm thinking is to ignore it all and head for the mountains. I've been eyeing the Wellsville Ridge North to South route the past week. I'd have to snow shoe it. The snow is too deep for packing skiis on my back and it's too steep for cross country skis. But Tony Grove got three feet of snow through the month and I'd love to ski up Naomi.
I'll call this old guy I know, name of Murphy, though and see if he wants to run this afternoon. Maybe I'll put in some miles with him.
Just finished two more of the original and only books on the inner Grand Canyon trails. "The Man Who Walked Through Time", and "Running Wild".
Rob didn't answer his phone so I headed up to Tony Grove trail and did a hard 12 on cross country skis.
