Supposed to be out at 5 am flying through Denver to LA today back home but the snow storms in Denver have cancelled my work for the day.  Seems like someone wanted me to have some time to run this morning!  Nothing like running when you are getting paid to work..

3 mile warm up, 3X3 mile, 3 mile easy. 20 min lifting.

Looking forward to skiing with the kids all day tomorrow and fitting in a good run.  If I get home early enough today maybe a second run so Rob doesn't catch up to my mileage this week.

Wow. I thought I might actually run more miles than you this week. But it appears not.

Nice run Steve. Marathon pace on the 3 mile reps?

From Rob Murphy on Fri, Feb 03, 2012 at 11:30:56 from 205.127.70.66

Marathon pace - yeah right. I'm sure he did them at about 5:20 pace.

I wish. I was holding as close to 10 seconds under MP as I could, 5:35. Right now my two objectives are to trim up since I ran all last year as a fat guy, and to get a lot more miles in at MP or under. If I hold up, then it's time for some intensity. I figure I'm about two months out still to marathon shape. That's why this is so fun right?

"Someone wanted me to have time to run this morning"?

You're probably right - God sent a huge blizzard to paralyze the center third of the nation so that Steve Anderson could get a decent workout in.

Haha Rob I am cracking up at that one!! :-)

Steve is #3 after Tebow and Ryan Hall on God's favorite elite athlete list :-)

Pretty thoughtful deity huh? I'm thinking Taranis the Celtic weather Being. And what happens throughout history to those unbelievers who mock?

They are destroyed. Think tornados, thunder, bugs falling from the sky, dogs and cats sleeping together.
