I've put off blogging my runs for a LOOOOOONG time.  I just signed up for the SG Marathon, so I think it's time to get back on the blogging wagon.

Here's what I've been up to:

December 2011- Had baby #4 MILES (yes, named for the miles I love to run :-)

January-Set goal to run 30 on my 30th b-day, started training with Mary for her Boston race

April 16th-  Ran 30.5 (thanks to mom who needed an extra .5 to get 23)  wasn't too happy about that extra .5, but I forgive her now :) THANKS to Craig, Amber, Mom, Liisa & Nate for running with me and Mary for all the training runs!!  It was long and pretty slow, but a beautiful day and I accomplished what I set out to do.

May 5th Ran the Cranbrook 5K for a time-trial to base our next month's training.  22:10.  I hope to break 20 on my next 5K.

TODAY: Ran 10X200s at a 12.  It was really hard.  Felt good though to pound the treadmill and tear up my quads.  Haven't done that for a long time.

Out and back from library.  Kid watch swap.  Beautiful day.  Faster back than out by almost 2 min

I chose the wrong course for this tempo run.  I did the cider mill loop--by the time I had warmed up, it was time to do the tempo running up hill and crossing major intersections.  Oh well, it was still a good run.  Made up for the pace a little on the last, more flat mile.

Beautiful day in Michigan
