AM-7 miles easy. Draper loop. 65-70% mhr. PM-No second run, took it easy for tomorrows workout. Being Sunday I do try to make at least an attempt to make it a day of rest. But with my job wanting me to be there it just seems like another day.
AM-13 miles with 2x3 miles at 10K-5K effort with 30sec rest for a change around. 1st at 10k, 2nd at 10k with focus on throwing the hammer down on the last mile. 85-95% mhr for 6 miles. 65-75% for 7miles.
Ran 6 easy miles today with a half mile in 2:38 to wind things out a little. Tendon is doing a little better every day. 70% mhr. with half mile at roughly 80% mhr.
Ran 5 easy miles at 8min/mi. with 104-106 thr for 2mi then 3mi at 7min pace 120-126 thr. Took it easy today to keep the injury recovery going. Not sure how this will play out tomorrow but I will take whatever God gives me.
Tough race today, gave it all up on those darn hills! Oh well it was fun its own twisted tortuous way. Good job everybody I was impressed with how you guys handled that long nasty uphill. It felt like watching a ship slowly pass off into the horizon while stranded at sea on a piece of driftwood.... I finally floated in at 36:28 or something.
