Very easy on the SLCC indoor track this evening. I just came across a new radio for rehab and this is really a nice one on the outside which is rare for age 73. Unfortunately it needs some real TLC on the inside including replacement of a very hard to find ballast tube. Needless to say it had my mind preoccupied during the run on how to come up with a solid state fix for this one. Simple really, It's either two big ugly high heat, high wattage power resistors or it's find the golden ballast tube somewhere. Sorry, its a bug I caught years ago but which now has come into full swing lately. I can't decide which hobby I love more... I think the antique radios are winning by the looks of my blog wouldn't you agree? Darkhorse out..
