AM-Biked to the Krispy Kreme. A nice 6 mile run after a nice sugar high. Headed out towards Kaysville and back.

PM-No run, spent the evening later looking for a microwave at Lowe's. Oh well that's ok it's an easy recovery day anyway.  I just feel like I'm slacking if I'm not on at least the first page of the mileage board:)

Sounds like a perfect morning! I need to do more bike rides like yours - bookstores, Krispy Cremes...

They closed every Krispy Kreme in Salt Lake. Bummer.

Lulu- Unfortunately I've had a little too much spare time on my hands lately.. It's been kind of fun though. Everyone needs to stop and smell the roses once in a while so to speak:)

Rob-Thats really tragic. Hmm.. not really considering how many calories are probably in just a single donut! I wonder how many are in one anyhow? Have to look that one up now.

One original glaze Krispy kreme is 200 calories. Steve are you doing the des new marathon.

Hi Kory, I certainly hope so I am planning on it. Things are kind of unpredictable right now.

Been struggling with some sort of high hamstring/piriformis tendinopathy also that is just not going away. Some days are good, some not so good.. I'm at a total loss on what to do. That will be a big factor in my decision to run the marathon.

From Rob Murphy on Fri, Jun 01, 2012 at 13:09:12 from 205.127.70.66

I'm struggling with being old and creaky.

From Kory on Fri, Jun 01, 2012 at 15:12:38 from 134.50.89.24

I had the samething and it could be the sciatic nerve underneath the piriformis muscle. Try sitting in a chair and crossing one leg over top and lean forward. You will feel a pull on that area. Hold this for 20 seconds and do it a few repetitions for each leg. Mine tends to creep back every now and then as well.

I was thinking of making Des News my Marathon debut from my injury.
