Easy ten miles on the trail today, this time it was so easy I could have ran it backwards!  10 miles at 7:30-8:00/mile pace.   Very hungry and broke, so afterwards I bought a package of day old gooey donuts and ate all six in one sitting!!  Probably worth 2000 plus calories I'm sure.  Its all carbs anyway right?  LOL..Oh, but I feel better now!  Darkhorse out..

It would be great to say that 10 miles at any pace is easy. I've never run an easy 10 miler. Great job, it sounds like you are running really strong.

Horseman...when you say trails, do you mean offroad trails?I just wondered if you ran any trail runs.Man I wished that I could run at a 7:30 pace backwards.

Mike-Sorry, I sounded kind of arrogant I suppose.I didn't mean to. I'm trying to be more humble. 7:30 pace is tough for me on some days though, just not that day however.

Cheryl-Same, Are you coming to the 15k this weekend by the way? Like to see you everyone as it's been a long time..

Kory-Yeah, things are definitely tough right now with my hours cut and all. Its ok though. I appreciate the basics all the more, You know what I mean? Coming to any of gthe big races this year along with Barry?

Robert-Yes, and I have Homer Simpson to back me up on that one also...

Your donut indulgence reminded of the SNL skit with John Belushi in the olympics. "Little chocolate donuts have always been on my training table and they should be on yours too".

Steve - I'm for sure not doing SLC or Ogden and don't have an idea if I'll even race. It seems I've been really injury plagued as of late. I'm just letting God direct my path each day and help decide the running I will do.

My work has really hinder my training because of all the extra hours and being so busy. At times I can't even think about training.
