I'm back from my little cycling vacation now and complete with a timed mile to get a rough estimate of fitness. I tell you the time later...

Afterwards I went to work on my motorcycle. Got quite a bit done including a crankcase cover replacement and body work. Almost done and she'll be ready to ride. I have to say this though, I was extremely hesitant to even pull this bike out of storage, however it's all that I have to get around with now. So those of you shaking your heads in disbelief ask yourself this, what would you do? Especially if there isn't public transportation available at the hours you work at.    Dark Horse out...

You're going to get your motorcycle ready to ride just when the temperatures drop. BRRRR!!!

Could you summarize how long your 'vacation' was, what it consisted of, etc? I'm pretty interested in what your mile time turned out to be.

Ashbaker Ashbaker. I leave you alone for a few weeks and it comes back to riding the ol' motorcycle...

*Sigh* But I understand needing to get around, dang it, I just don't like the danger part. Please be careful! Is carpooling an option?

Welcome back, you are just in time to build some major character!

Carpool? With who? The after hours bar crowd! I work from 1am to 9:30am. I actually don't mind the hours it's just that the rest of the world is sleeeping.

It makes for the smoothest commute in the world though!
