I feel the need to make an entry today in spite of the fact I have not run much since the Judges race. There is a much different motivation now than before to run again. God seems to have impressed the fact that I need to run more in the spirit of Forrest Gump than in the spirit of competition or achievement. For me any other way leads to to an endless and elusive pursuit of goals that in the long run really do not matter in the grand scheme of things. I will however run as far and as fast as it is possible, so that I might make the most of what my creator has given me. St George here we come!

Steve, good to see you back. I think you will have success in finding balance and "middle ground" in running and life. Your best "times" are ahead of you, as is your greatest enjoyment.
