AM-MP run on the 7th east course out and back. 12 miles at marathon pace in 1:08:48. Went pretty smooth after mile 4. I gues I may not be running The Ogden Marathon afterall. The race director has refused me entry period. I don't know what to do! If anyone can help please let me know. It would be greatly appreciated...

PM-4 miles easy with several fartlek surges for leg turnover. 6:40-7:00/min pace.

Steve,

I have signed up for the marathon, but I would like to change to the half marathon. I haven't e-mailed the race director yet, I did talk to him at the Ogden 30K and he said it would be fine for me to change. That would open up a spot in the marathon.

Contact Kris Erickson with the USA track and field office and ask if she has any comps to Ogden. Go to the Utah Association web site and she is under the office manager.

Steve,

Check with Sasha he is usually really good about taking care of stuff like this.

I also checked and the on-line registration is still open on Active.com until the 15th of May although it costs $125.

Don't give up I'm sure you can get in one way or another.

I also am signed up for the marathon but probably won't run it. If it will help I will cancel it.

steve

I was given the asics comp for that race. I will email kristin and tell her I am out. Maybe she will give you the comp.

Thanks everyone, I did not think that it was still open because the e-mail she sent me she said sorry but registration is sold out as if there was no other alternative. Bob and Mike, I am interested so somehow I will get a hold of you in a little bit as a 125 dollars right now seems to be too much with everything else I have going out this month. And I am in a manly sort of way touched by the responses from everyone. Thank You very much everyone for your help. Steve,
