AM-Easy 10 miles via Ft Union up on the SLC marathon course. More crazy south wind as usual.

PM-Easy 12 miles at lunch with some faster speed changes at the end for leg turnover and form. 7th east into Draper out and back.  Had a delicious crab and avocado sandwich from Groves afterwards. I have to tell you they make the absolute best and biggest sandwiches hands down:)  Needed it too because I have a lot of work ahead of me this evening.

Watched the film "Endurance" tonight.  It really strengthened me in some ways I can't describe in words and gave me some really good insight:)   I know that my best potential is past but it does not mean I can't still run some really good times.  I'm going to give it everything I have now God willing.

Great running so far this week Steve. Way to get in the miles.

Jake, Thanks but I'm going to need to take a step back in mileage next week. I have definitely taken a big jump and am pushing my luck a bit in this area:)

That would be the wise move - step it up a bit, then give your body a chance to absorb the training and stay healthy!

Hi Michelle!

It is pretty cool isn't it.. Really nice to hear from you.

Hope all is well with you and Dennis:)

Thanks, Steve! You sure can still run fast! This is the beauty of running, always challenging ourselves. You have tons of potential still left. Dennis will be 50 in two months and is still looking forward to running fast.

Hope all is well. Lots of good mileage today for you!
