Hi Steve,

You asked me about my knee today so I went and looked up my old running log. It looks like I hurt it May 6th. So it's been a couple of weeks. I tried to take 5 minutes off my pace which was very, very foolish on my part. it only took me a few minutes at that speed to do teh damage.

On May 7th I did another mile and it was very painful. Probably wasn't my smartest move. I tried again on the 9th but it still hurt. I remember that run, I was on and off the treadmill in a matter of minutes. So I didn't actually really run again until the 14th. So I was off of it for a good week before I did anything at all.

So for the first week I didn't do anything. The second week I mostly walked. I only ran 4 miles for the week. I Stepped it up the third week and started running every day.

Steve,

It is good to see you back at it again. Hopefully you are starting to get the itch to ramp it up again. I'm looking forward to seeing big miles out of you again as it inspires me to get my mileage back up as well!
