Still catching up on sleep and thought time. Worked from home in the AM to do another run with my wife. It is nice to get these in from time-to-time. Suicide loop before getting dropped off at work.

Suicide loop sounds very intense. Nice mileage so far this week.

It is nice to run pain free again. It has been too long.

Suicide loop is what I call the bike path past the mouth of Parley's into Tanner Park before I head home.

Here is the description I found on line.

SUICIDE ROCK & THE RESERVOIR One of the foremost sights that met the eye of the early travelers when they reached the mouth of Parley's canyon before entering into the Valley of the Great Salt Lake, was a huge mass of red rock which stood in the middle of the mouth of the canyon. It consisted mainly of red sandstone and had stood as a sentinel for centuries. For hundreds of years it stood as a watch tower for the Indians until, as the story goes, an Indian maiden, upon learning of the death of her brave, leaped from the top to her death on the rocks below giving it the name of Suicide Rock. Now it is a bill-board for the youth who dare climb its heights with a paint brush or spray can. (http://gowalla.com/spots/410622)

Sweet! Thanks for the response, I will now regale anyone unfortunate enough to be a passengers in my car with the history of Suicide Rock.

I remember my mom used to refer to that as Tooth Rock but I guess it was/is more commonly known as Suicide Rock.

Maybe she lost a tooth there or something, sorry to ramble.
