It is crazy how your life can change without you even realizing it. I've always been a hard worker 80+ hr weeks in grad school with 60-80 mph running. But that was obviously pre-children etc. Now however, it never seems like there is enough time to keep it all balanced. That is why I initially chose my blog title but some years really throw a different set of challenges by way to try and keep it. I guess the way to look at it is that I still get to do it all. Just at a smaller and/or redistributed scale. Anyway that intro just came from the fact that Jake took the time to ask if I would join them this morning and I'm glad I did. Our group of 10 runners met at the JRP. It was cold but since Jake and Allie were both in shorts I can't complain. It was a good run and good conversation. Thanks all.

True, all that. Sometimes we all need to slow down and make time for friends. I always feel re-charged mentally after a run like this morning's. Don't do it nearly often enough.

It was nice to meet you this morning. Good run.

Thanks guys. It is a great group and I'm glad I was able to join in today. Hopefully I can make it more regularly...
