Miles are miles and I will take them. With the car situation I ran into work today. Door to door it is 2.5 miles. Luckily I missed the rain but I was super over dressed. I took some Aleve for my back so I can't feel my knee but the knot in my back is still there. Well I have a meeting with my boss in an hour and then another full day. One of these days I'll get to type about running again instead of this complaining about "life" stuff...

Sasha made the shoe calculator for use, if you want, rather than doing your shoe tracking at the bottom of you blog.

Hope the back continues to feel better and work settles down. Life certainly is throwing you a few curves (builds character, right?).

When is Sandra's due date?

Jon, Good point. It would save me some time as well...

Jeff, The moto of my old lab was "What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger..." I think that holds true in this case as well. However, the other thing I have to learn, and I think I've mentioned it a few times here over the last month is to focus on the good things. I think you surround yourself with positive and negative attitudes and then sometimes the "stuff" piles up for better or worse. It seems like you are progressing nicely, '09 is all I can say. There are a lot of people on this blog hungry for sub-2:30 and I think our shortcomings this year are going to make next year that much more focused...
