Knee a little sore this AM. May have been the freezing temp. Just did the direct commute run in. Only planning about 15 mi this week for my step back week. Current plan is to increase ~10 mi for every 8 wk block +/- ~5 mi/wk with the 9th week at 1/2 the average of the previous 8 wk. Did I loose you?

you lost me the first time. but i read it again +/- 1 more time, and i got it. good plan. exciting that you are planning on a spring marathon.

Allie,

I thought I saw you running on Foothill last night but I guess I was mistaken... What are your next marathon plans. I saw you asking for advice. Is anything concrete?

From allie on Tue, Oct 26, 2010 at 15:28:51 from 174.23.195.124

i was on foothill yesterday morning, but not last night.

no concrete plans yet. from the comments i received, i am mostly convinced that another marathon this year is a bad idea, but CIM and mesquite are still on the table. soon enough the price increases/closures are going to force me to make a decision.

if i wait until the spring (and assuming i can't get into boston), i am considering running either the SLC marathon or eugene. i see you are planning on ogden. that might be fun as well. so many options to choose from these days...

Great pic! The expression on your daughters face looks like she's thinking: "ha! My dad is so much faster than your dad!".

From Adam RW on Wed, Oct 27, 2010 at 16:51:01 from 155.101.152.123

Allie, If there are no concrete plans what are the odds of you joining me for Ogden? Granted that means I have to be running it in the first place...

JD, It is great having them. The whole way is go daddy go. The funny part is when we go on training runs now they want race pace and I tell them that it is not possible everyday :)...
